The Infrastructure & Fleet Team at Barkly Regional Council plays a crucial role in driving sustainable development and maintaining essential services for our community. This dynamic team comprises the Director of Infrastructure and Fleet, two Project Managers, a Project Coordinator, a Fleet Manager, a Senior Administrator, and three skilled Mechanics.
Together, they manage and deliver key projects, including Local Authority (LA) Projects, Road to Recovery Projects, Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Projects, as well as other grant-based initiatives. Their work focuses on enhancing our region's infrastructure, from improving road networks and asset management to managing fleet operations essential for delivering council services efficiently.
With a focus on innovation and community engagement, the Infrastructure & Fleet Team is dedicated to building a stronger, more connected Barkly Region.
The Council acknowledges the traditional owners of the Warumungu, Mudberra, Jingili, Wakaya, Wambaya, Waanyi, Walpiri, Warlmanpa, Alyawarr, Anmatyerre and Kaytetye Country on which we live and work on and recognise their ongoing connection to lands, waters and culture. We pay our respects to the ancestors and elders of these lands in all aspects of past, present and emerging.
May we continue to work together to deliver sustainable outcomes through a process based on mutual respect and understanding.
