Tennant Creek Swimming Pool

We completed the Tennant Creek swimming pool renovation project in mid-2024. This complex includes a baby pool and a leisure pool. Kitchen and BBQ facilities are available.


The pool’s daily opening hours:

Early morning: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Afternoon: 2:30 AM – 5:30 PM


We collaborate with partners to provide short lifeguard training courses at the pool. For more information, contact reception@barkly.nt.gov.au

There is a $300 facility bond payable per hire (as per terms & conditions of hire)

Youth Centre

The Youth Centre was renovated in 2024 and has become a multi-complex indoor playground for children and teenagers.

Civic Hall

The Civic Hall offers a versatile and spacious setting; the Civic Hall is the ideal choice for big and small events, from community gatherings to business conferences or a special celebration.
