Audit and Risk Committee

The Committee was established under Section 86 of the Local Government Act 2019.

The Committee monitors and advises on Council's compliance with the financial management accounting standards, regulations and best practices.

Finance Committee

The committee was established under regulation 19 (1) Local Government (General) Regulations 2021.

The Council has delegated to the committee the necessary powers to carry out, on behalf of the Council, financial functions of the Council in the months the Council does not schedule an ordinary meeting.

CEO Review Committee

The committee was established under Section 82 of the Act.

The Committee advises Council on Issues relating to the CEO's terms of Service.

Animal Management Advisory Committee

The committee was established under Section 82 of the Act.

The Committee advises Council on Issues relating animal management in the Barkly Region, control of dog's bylaw, and development and adoption of the 2025-27 Barkly Region Animal Management Plan.
