ATKINS (Haines), VINCENT JAMES
Drowned at St Videons Crossing on the Roper River. His body being recovered two days later when it refloated to the surface. Autopsy performed at Katherine and body returned to Tennant Creek for burial.
Mary Christina Atkins (nee Dunn born SA 26 Sept 1934) was Vince's partner of thirteen years before his death.

ATKINS (nee Dunn), MARY CHRISTINA
Partner of Vincent James Atkins, lived at Pindari Flats Tennant Creek, suffered with pneumonia, flown to Alice Springs Hospital where she died. Returned to Tennant Creek for burial.
Family arrived in Tennant Creek from Oodnadatta on the 18th October 1970
