News: Postal voting is now open for the Barkly Regional Council General Election

Apply now to receive a postal vote if you are unable to vote in-person for the Barkly Regional Council General Election.

When do postal vote applications close?

  • Overseas postal vote applications - 6 pm on Tuesday 29 October 2024.
  • Domestic postal vote applications - 6 pm on Thursday 31 October 2024.

When does voting commence?

  • Early voting will take place at the Tennant Creek Civic Hall from Monday, 21 October, to Friday, 1 November. Early voting will also take place at the NT Electoral Commission Darwin office from Monday 21 October.
  • Remote voting for the Barkly Regional Council election will take place from Monday, 21 October, until Friday, 1 November.
  • Election day voting is on Saturday, 2 November, at the Civic Hall from 8 am to 6 pm.
