Want to improve safety on the roads and paths in your community? Then have your say in this survey

Posted: Thursday, 21 July 2016

Cardno has been appointed by Barkly Regional Council to carry out a Traffic Management Study of five communities within the region.
They want to understand any concerns residents may have about safety on the roads and paths in their community and what they would like to see improved.
Please click on the following online survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Barkly_Traffic to help Cardno begin to understand the transport related issues in your community.

Download information forms for each different community here.
Tennant Creek
Alpurrurulam
Ampilatwatja
Arlparra
Ali Curung

Hard copies will also be available at the following locations:
Tennant Creek Council Office: 41 Peko Road, Tennant Creek
Council Offices in Alpurrurulam, Ampilatwatja, Arlparra and Ali Curung

The information gathered from this survey will help Cardno identify the most important issues for each community and advise the Council on the best way of making improvements.
They will include recommendations for improvements and priorities in a Traffic Management Study report to help Council and the Territory Government make decisions about future spending.
The Cardno project team will also be visiting each community to do a walk-around accompanied by representatives from each of the communities on the following dates:

Tennant Creek – Friday, 5 August
Alpurrurulam – Monday, 8 August
Ampilatwatja – Tuesday, 9 August
