The Barkly Regional Council is thrilled to announce a wonderful opportunity for residents to showcase their festive spirit and light up the region this Christmas.
As the holiday season approaches, we invite everyone to transform their homes into magical displays of dazzling lights and decorations, creating a Christmas wonderland that brings joy to our community.
To make this festive season even more rewarding, the Council has organised a fantastic competition with appealing prizes for the most impressive displays.
The first prize, a $500 IGA gift card, will be handpicked by the Council.
The second and third prizes, valued at $250 and $100 respectively, will be decided by community voting.
To participate, you simply need to decorate their homes and submit their entries via email to reception@barkly.nt.gov.au by 18 December. Judging will take place on 20 December, with winners to be announced shortly after.
This initiative is a fantastic way to spread holiday cheer, foster community engagement, and celebrate the festive season together.
