About the Role:

The position of Work Staff Supervisor - Alpurrurulam is responsible for performing a range of tasks relating to the manual and mechanical works of the depot and the community, including activities relating to public spaces, hygiene facilities (rubbish and sewage), roads, river crossings, drainage, and general Council infrastructure.


The Essentials: 

  • A current HR driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and Aboriginal issues.
  • Previous experience in municipal services
  • Previous experience in a supervisor role.
  • Willing to undergo a National Police Criminal History Check.

  • Have excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Annual Leave of 6 weeks paid with 17.5% leave loading.

 

The Finer Details:

  • Full Time position paying an annual salary of $74,486.70 ($1,432.44 gross per week)
  • Remote Community Zone Allowance of $2.5100 per hour
  • 11% Superannuation
