About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic Safe House team in Ali Curung. In this pivotal role, you will oversee case management support, deliver outreach to at-risk individuals, and ensure the smooth operation of our emergency accommodation services.
The Essentials
- Demonstrated previous experience running Safe Houses or formal qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Development.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to quickly establish trust and rapport and maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Privacy Act.
- Solid understanding of the issues surrounding domestic and family violence.
- Functional knowledge of the mandatory reporting legislation related to domestic violence and the protection of children.
- Current Manual (C Class) Drivers Licence.
- Current National Criminal History Check (within the last 3 months).
- Current NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card). A current National Police Criminal History Check (within the last 3 months).

The Finer Details
- Full-Time position paying at Level 5 Pay Point 1 of the Barkly Regional Council Enterprise Agreement 2023.
- Annual Salary of $68,321.68 ($2,627.76 gross per fortnight).
- Remote Community Zone Allowance of $2.51 per ordinary hour.
- 11.5% Superannuation.
- Annual Leave of 6 weeks paid with 17.5% Leave Loading.
