Event: Big backyard bird count
Contribute to a nationwide science project with a bird survey at Lake Mary Ann

The Aussie Backyard Bird Count is a nationwide citizen science project that involves people all over Australia, recording birds in their local area from 17-23 October.
Come along to Lake Mary Ann at twilight and see what you can spot with a ranger from Parks and Wildlife.
Learn more about the birds that live in our backyard, and some common species to look for.
Beginners and experts welcome.
Meet in the car park at Lake Mary Ann at 5.30pm. Walk finishes at 6.30pm.
Bring a hat, water, sturdy shoes, binoculars (optional) and smart phone (optional).
