On: Sunday, 21 June 2015

Running has got to be hands down the fastest way to get fit fast. It’s also a lot of fun.
Staff at Anyinginyi Sports and Recreation invite local runners, whether experienced or beginner, to a series of Deadly Fun Runs held in Tennant Creek.
The first fun run on 31 May was a huge success with around 50 runners taking part. The next two are on 14 June and 21 June.
Starting at 8.30am from Lake Mary Ann car park, there's different levels with 2.1km run for beginners, 3.4km (intermediate) and 6.8km (advanced).
If you take part in the Deadly Fun Run series you are also in the running to participate in the 2015 Deadly Fun Run Championship in Uluru on 25 July.
This once-in-a-lifetime experience allows marathoners to take in the stunning views of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) as the kilometres tick by.
Enjoyed by both professional runners, club runners, casual runners and beginners, there are events for all running levels including the full marathon, half marathon, 11km and 6km fun runs.
